What Is Stress?............................................................................................................................. .................

It is estimated that up to 14 million UK men and women suffer from stress & anxiety and it's physical and emotional effect on us has made it the biggest cause of absenteism at work and the leading reason for visits to the GP.. The so called 'credit crunch' has only added to levels of stress in our lives with a recent YouGov survey showing that 8 out of 10 of us are now worried about our finances.

Symptoms:

Stress occurs when we are put under too much pressure and can have psychological and physical symptoms. Emotional symptoms can range from irritability, apathy, depresstion and constant anxiety to loss of appetite, lack of concentration, loss of sex drive and increased smoking, drinking or eating (comfort eating).
